President's Message

Hello members and potential members of the Heartland Regional Council (HRC) of the IMA.,

It is with great humility that I take the position of president’s role, on the council (HRC) and follow in the steps of Distinguished members, Deb Roskamp and Jim Williams. They have done great work in laying a strong foundation from which to build upon.

One of the areas I am most excited about working on is the integration of the student chapter members into our council and local chapter activities, as well as help them transition into their careers and chapter leadership ready to contribute. I believe one of the most worthwhile activities we can undertake is the transfer of knowledge and wisdom from one generation to the next. I look forward to taking this journey with all of you.

To those of you who have once been a member of our hearty crew, I would like to extend an invitation to return and be a part of this rewarding work. Your insights, views and wisdom are missed. If you have been away for a little bit or a long time, we welcome you. If you can only serve in smaller roles, please do. We will take your service in whatever measure you can give.

I thank all of you for your time and talent to make this council run and as always, Thank You for Your Service.
